Honorable Mention apple? cherry? lemon-meringue? beef and kidney pie? or perhaps just pizza alan addotto pastriespoetrypasteries Never did make a pie with a pretty crust always relied on hunger and simple trust that beneath the surface was either something sweet nourishing, or good to eat. some got eaten by those that needed them but most were left untouched. not being pretty enough. Oh well, I thought at least the aromas (to misquote another bakerpiemaker “those that have noses let them smell.” and eat. ) |
